Today, four of my boys had "Lunch with a Buddy" and only in my classroom would I overhear the following topics:
"first big fish"
"best fishing line"
"best bait"
fish for dinner"
"biggest red drum caught this year"
"fish got off the line"
"you're lucky you caught that drum"
"worms for the small fish"
"caught my king mackerel with a little tuna"
Notice a trend?
Three cheers for teaching at the Crystal Coast.

I sent this to Dustin and he said "that's my kind of class - I could have talked to those kids all day!" Ha ha. Love it!
i LOVE it! my parents have a place in new bern and we go the the crystal coast beaches all the time.
aww, see I dont get to hear that stuff EVER! Ive got 4 girls, and I homeschool. I cant believe out of 4 eggs I couldnt even get one boy!! lol. Love this post! xoxo LA
Sounds similar to my conversation with a few of second grade boys. Just substitute all the fish talk with deer and hunting camps. I didn't have much to say...
